I took the, “For the Love of Art” competition as an inspiration to create a piece that not only represents the innocence of young love through a pinky promise, but also my love of art across all media; visual arts such as painting and collage, botanical art and literary arts, such as reading and writing. This piece includes acrylic paint, resin, dried rose flowers and petals and tea-dyed book stock to form a collage. I hope you enjoy this art piece as much as I enjoyed creating it!
