After looking through all of the 2023 art pieces, one theme got stuck in my mind which was Karina Camargo, Two in Blues. I kept thinking of dancing, which is what everyone loves to watch and do. Dance was the main idea I had when creating my art piece, after that I started thinking about rabbits(bunnies), as I had a pet bunny I remembered how much they loved to hop around. Naturally my mind started drifting to our beautiful forest with their huge trees that seemed to cover the sky. In that invisible sky the birds who love to sing, dance around up with the bunnies as if telling others to come and watch. The animals of the forest came to watch them dance in celebration of the new life that's growing out of the burnt tree trunk. As for the people(spirits) I included, it was because I thought it would make the image much more lively and remind people to have fun. Also because looking at other people's dance brings people in and gives a story. I wanted to make my art look fun, lively, and pleasant to look at. So I used colors that were meant to give people a peace of mind(many different shades of green only on the trees and ground). Not only that but I added small little butterflies, that when looked at a distance it gives an effect of leaves falling giving my art more life with the white highlights that make the birds look as if they are moving.
