I grew up listening to Johnny Cash and I got inspired by one of his songs called "When the Man Comes Around." The song is based on the bible, book of Revelation. When the man comes around referring to God and Jesus for his return. I based the painting on the ending part of the song when Johnny Cash spoke and said " And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked, and behold a pale horse. And his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with him." The painting is a reminder of  Judgment Day and that God will make his return one day.
