The art work that I will be presenting is about beauty standards. It’s about telling people that there is more to beauty, letting people know that beauty doesn’t always just come from without but also comes from within. We need to learn how to stop idolizing the validation of others and stop allowing the opinions of others make us doubt ourselves and our beauty. So next time you look at your reflection, remember that there is beauty within you. Also, to learn how not to depend on make-up or jewelry to cover you up, but to embrace who you are!
