This piece, incorporating its all-natural materials, ties the fantasy and curiosity of human spirit together with nature. The story is up for interpretation - is it a library? Is it the home of some bookworm fairy? Regardless of its title, the piece is meant to bring a sense of exploration to the viewer, inviting one in to see the detail. In our modern era, everything is very fast-moving, very broad and loud; the sculpture is meant to be the opposite, a piece where one can slow down and admire it without feeling rushed. It hopes to open up curiosity and wonder within the viewers and provide a little sense of peace amidst a chaotic world.
