I created an art piece that portrays someone's journey on growing up and accepting themselves. Many people often feel lost and insecure especially during adolescence. It can be a hard time to go through since there can be pressure to fit into a certain type of mold, many decisions to make, and figuring out who you are. It can be scary, confusing, and exciting. When flowers bloom it can signify a new beginning. When you accept yourself and do what you want to do it can feel like a fresh start and one of the first steps in becoming a confident young adult.
