Scrolling through old pics, I found one with my buddy Emmett, a fishing memory from our camping trip at Lake Nacimiento. Picture this: a random night, the lake calm as glass, stars filling up the sky, and zero wind messing with the vibes. Snapped a few shots, and bam, that's the moment my painting got its purpose. It's a flashback to those epic times, just kickin' back and soaking in the good times with my crew. Good times.

Making this image gave me a serious sense of accomplishment because I'd never tried anything like it before. I was pretty nervous and anxious working on it, but in the end, it came out just like I'd pictured it in my mind.
